Well, it's official-official, so I can finally spill the beans...
WE'RE MOVING!!!
Some of you know that we've been trying to sell our house for the last 21 months, and it has finally happened! We signed the contract to sell on Easter Sunday, and found our new home the next weekend. Now that inspections are done, and we're past the point of no return, it can be public knowledge! We are so very excited to be moving back home to
the Kansas side. Although we've been in the same metro area, it really seems like a world of difference. We like to refer to it as "the bubble". Jon and I both grew up in "the bubble" of Johnson County, KS, and quite frankly, we miss it.
{for those of you who aren't from KC, Johnson County is known as the "snotty, rich, spoiled, etc." part of town. Now, there are definitely some wealthy neighborhoods, but all in all it's really just the quintessential all-american area. It's the kind of place you'd want to raise your kids. But then again, I was born and raised there, so I may be a little biased. All we know, is that we'll take a JOCO snob any day over some of the things we've encountered on the other side of the state line.}
Anyway, as we move closer to starting a family, we feel that "the bubble" is where we want to be. We found a great house, in a great neighborhood, and thanks to the slow real estate market, we think we got a pretty great deal too! We couldn't be happier.
We will be moving on May 21st, three weeks from today!
Let the packing begin!

I will try to keep up on posts as much as possible over the next few weeks, but they may be a little sporadic.
