It's been so hot lately, and with us being sick, we haven't gone for a bike ride in a while! I think it's high time we got out and about. Perhaps tonight I can talk the hubs into going for a ride and then to the pool! Wouldn't that be lovely?

Have you been to the pool this year?
We've been a handful of times, but I don't feel like it's been nearly enough. Everyone keeps telling me that summer is almost over, and even though I know there's lots of summer left, I'm feeling the need to soak up every last drop of it. I always convince myself when it's freezing that summer's not all that wonderful...but it so is.

ReplyDeleteWe've only been to the pool a few times. It really hasn't gotten hot here in SoCal. We had a week or so in July when it was hot, then a week here or there in the spring when it got hot, but it's really been mild here. It'll likely heat up this month or next. Maybe we'll swim then!

I lost the desire to go to the pool at my old apartment complex when I watched someone wash out the guinea pig's cage in it... yuck!

ReplyDeleteI really want a basket for my bike and I have worked out a deal with myself- if I am still faithfully riding my bike when my birthday gets here in October, I am going to buy myself a basket!

Wordpress is a living nightmare (I'm not very computer savvy..so since I bought my own website you have a clean page any theme, gadget,widget, plugin etc you want you first have to upload into your computer (many times it fails ) then you have to install it..and depending on which 3 million themes you choose your options are according to that theme) I'm not very patient to read hundreds of forums!!! I mean I'm paying for it yet it seems its more complicated than if you had wordpress.com (I guess you pay so you can make your blog anyway you want it to be...
sorry I needed to vent!!!LOL
