Making things makes me happy....

I am seriously jonesin' for some craft time.  I want  need to make something!  {that isn't a piggy bank.}  I've been trying to think of something that would be a good fall project, and I've pretty much decided that I need a Fall wreath.  I have some things at home that I could piece together....maybe even a wreath form.  Anyway, we'll see if I can get to that this weekend!

I've been looking through Pinterest for ideas, and while I may not like everything about all of these, there's something in each of them that gets my creative juices flowing!  I'm sort of in love with a big fluffy neutral colored wreaths for fall.  Our front door is orange, so I want something that will pop!

Have any DIY projects planned for the weekend?  When was the last time you made something for yourself?  

The last project I made for myself was this bad boy .  Still love it!

  2. Wow. Love ALL the wreaths, especially the indian corn. Very fall like for sure.

    I have a long list of projects to work on.
    I really want to put a design on fabric, but need to find the time.

  3. Ooooh, I love the one with Indian corn!

    I made a candle holder the other day, and I'm itching to spray paint the candelabras I got at GoodWill this week. Oh, and I should probably give my Halloween costume some thought....

  6. Oh nice those are pretty! I like that last one. I don't own any but I see lots of gorgeous wreaths.

    Hmmm last DIY was just some decors around the house. But even that was long ago :(

  7. oh fun! i've been thinking i should get a wreath for my apartment, but i never think of it till the holidays. those are cool!

    i haven't made anything for myself in ages. i really should.
