Another crazy week here at the Casa de Davis.
This seems to be the year of surgeries. It seems like everyone is having them! The latest is my mama. {seen above on our cupcake date last weekend} She had shoulder surgery yesterday, and they discovered that her tendon was severed 2/3 of the way through! Poor thing. She's not very happy right now.
I've been trying to keep my head above water on painting. For some reason it's been a struggle lately. Not that I'm not enjoying it, but time is going by so quickly that it's hard to keep up! Plus, I've been really sticking to taking it easy on Sundays. I think it makes me more productive on Saturdays knowing that I'll have Sunday to relax, but obviously, I'm not getting anything done on Sundays now.
Anyhoo, I've gotta get with it! I have a couple of Easter baskets in the shop, and more coming. Order early, cause Easter is April 14th this year!

ReplyDeleteI have been feeling that way too. I feel like I can't keep up with my shop, my job, and my house work. If one thing is going well, the others are lacking. I have been having a tough time shipping things as quickly as I normally do. I have never not shipped the same day or the very next day but I find myself shipping 3 or 4 days after the sale from time to time now! UGH!
ReplyDeleteHope your Mom is feeling better. It MUST be the year of the surgery. My Father In Law had back surgery the Thursday before last :(
