A few fun finds....

This weeks finds are totally random things I like.  I guess that's really what this post is all about, but I always feel the need to categorize.  Not this week.......here goes.....


I'm a weirdo.  I didn't think there was a theme until I wrote this post, but the theme is obviously lazy summer relaxing.  Patios, pools, sun, cock mocktails.  I think I'm ready for this season!

I love the ambiance created by these fabulous mason jar lanterns.  Makes me want to sit on a patio and sip a cocktail.  {you know, if I wasn't growing a human.}

I would never in a million years spend this much on a pair of sunglasses, but I just like the way these look.  I feel like if you wear these you'd just be effortlessly cool.

Last, but not least, how sweet is this watch!?  There's something so summery about this shade.  Makes me want to sit by the pool and get tan lines.

A few fun finds....

I had a moment last night where it hit me....WE'RE HAVING A BABY!  That's crazy.  I mean, logically, I know that I'm pregnant.  I've seen the tests, and heard the heartbeat, but I think it's still soaking in emotionally.  Something strange happens when you spend years hoping for a baby. When it finally happens, your heart takes a while to open up to it.  I've guarded myself so tightly, that the walls are still coming down.

Every once in a while it hits me, and I just can't believe that a person is growing inside of me. That they're gonna come out at some point {I'm trying not to even think about what that will be like!} and they're gonna live with us, and I'm no doubt going to think they're the best person I've ever known.  It seriously blows my mind!

That being said, I find myself more and more daydreaming about what our little one will be like.  Wondering what exactly it will feel like to hold them in my arms.....to watch Jon hold them in his.  Oh, man.  This is gonna be pretty amazing.

With that in mind, here are a few of my "fun finds" for the week....

Love this sweet pendant....however frivolous it is, because you'd really only be able to wear it til you deliver, lest set yourself up for the "are you pregnant?" question that no non-pregnant woman wants to hear...But, what a great keepsake it would make!!!

I love this cute little wooden phone!  I have serious fears of handing over my iPhone to a small child {plus, I've heard alot about how damaging that can be to their development}  This seems like a cute, chew-friendly alternative...

A Few Fun Finds.....{BABY!}

I'm so excited to be sharing some of my favorite baby finds today!  I'll try not to let EVERYTHING turn into baby around here.  But let's face it, this is a blog about my life, and baby is the biggest, newest thing around here!

A few fun finds....

Spring has definitely sprung in Kansas City, and has brought with it allergies from hell!  I'm suffering through over here.  So far, today seems to be a little better.  Maybe that Claritin is finally working its magic?

Anywho....

It's Tuesday!  You know what that means!  Fun finds.  Yep, here we go....

This shop has tons of cute tees made in Turkey.  I love so many of their designs, but this one caught my eye.  {no pun intended.  ha!}

A Few Fun Finds...

{holy smokes, this is my 700th post!}

First of all, I wanted to say thank you to all of you for your wonderful comments yesterday!  You really made me happy.  See, I know I haven't been the best blogger as of late, and I was beginning to wonder if you all were bored with me.  I'm so glad you're still reading!  Ha!  And, I think yesterday's post got me excited about blogging again.  I'm going to make an extra effort to get back at it.

Happy Valentines Day everyone!

I know this day carries with it some high emotions for some.  I've gone back and forth over it in the past, myself.  But, it's a day about love, what's not to, um....love?  I think it's important to just not get caught up in the commercialization and cliches.  Just take some extra time to let the people in your life know you love them!

Okay, so I know I probably should have posted my favorites for V-day a couple weeks ago, as it's obviously too late to order them today, but I wanted to share anyway....
